I love this wine. More usually than the ronchi. The '96 is no exception. Beginning its late adolescence or even young adulthood.

I was a little disappointed by the bottle, I think it was a little over the hill. The fruit and tannins were still pretty good but the acidity was waning so it didn’t have much structure/complexity. Could’ve just been the bottle.
