Albino Piona
Bardolino DOC Corvina
Pleasantly surprised. The price is right and it's got a nice little flavour going on. Mind blowing that the grape blend is the same as valpolicella but blended in different concentration to create something that looks and feels like a Pinot noir. Tastes like a volcanic wine, and it's so close to soave as a region that I feel like it lends something from it. Mineral and salt. Really good.

Mar 7th, 20152011 - Bardolino at its best. You should ought to admire this transparent red color, evocative of great Schiava (Vernatsch) from Südtirol. Salty and tasty, balanced and elegant.

Jan 6th, 2015Corvina gentile 100%, grown in Custoza, southern side of Bardolino DOC. "Pinotnoirsque" in the color as you may expect, very transparent and light red. Amazing wine.

Mar 16th, 2014Spices and leather, reminiscent of Pinot Noir. Not overly complex but elegantly balanced. Medium-bodied, light and bitter palate, dry tannins. Decent linger.

Aug 13th, 2018Ric shouldn’t have opened this bottle. When people come into the restaurant and say they don’t like strong wine, this is what I should give them. Decent though.

Apr 20th, 2018Delicious. Extremely light, opened up after 30 minutes. Would be excellent for warmer weather.
