Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc & Petit Verdot, aged 18 months in French oak (50%new), deep Ruby with aromas of dark fruits with toasty oak notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and cherry with smoke, tar and sweet spice. This is a full-bodied red that wraps thickly over the palate, showing rich density and concentration along the way. Firm tannins, medium+ finish ending with ripe fruit and toasty oak character.

💯 new French oak 50% cab sauv with Merlot, CF and PV This is got a luxuriousness on the palate. Although the juice and oak are harmonious, I would prefer if they pulled back a bit. Very similar profile to the left bank wines that critics adore. I will recommend to those who like stylish Cabernet, it has some minerality to it and I would say could be IDed as old world.

Reward glass for moving heavy furniture after work...
I believe this may be a Cabernet biased blend, was a little loose and closed on opening, improved in the glass over about 30 min. Decent bottle, young.

Nice acidity and balance, with the typical Bolgheri richness. Nice spice with a touch of tobacco & chocolate in the end. Works amazingly well with a good fiorentina or t-bone.
