2008 in 2017. Says Tuscan blend but is 100% merlot. Stunning! The fruit explodes from the glass.

Hints of cocoa powder, rich stewed red fruit, lavender in a mountain valley, changes constantly, so evocative.
Generous fruit and a small front of tannin, a razor like profile with a burst of brightness at the end. Finishes long, a gentle persistent grip. Drop dead gorgeous.

What a wine. 100 percent Merlot. I had the 2006 in 2021. it can still be stored for years. Just fantastic.

Very mature, may be in decline, but still delicious. Dry prunes, sticky dates, toasted oak, smoke and spices. Full bodied, tobacco finish and good nervous acidity.
