Aug 2nd, 2021A blend of 42%Zinfandel, 32% Merlot & 26% Petit Verdot and aged for 3 months in Kentucky bourbon barrels. Very deep Ruby with berry fruit aromas with some oak, cacao notes & toasty oak. On the palate ripe berry fruit, burnt oak and chocolate flavors with sharp pepper spice. Medium finish, ending hot with an alcohol burn. Not a fan of wine aged in whisky barrels! Tasting Sample.

Can I tell you first this is a delicious cab? Then it has that bourbon flavor with a little extra kick. This is a phenomenal bottle! Would absolutely by again! Picked up at Total Wine for $20ish definitely worth it.

Nov 29th, 2021Consumed 04/2020. The bottle has some fun stuff on the label on the back. It is a unique red wine awoken by bold and toasty notes of fire charred barrels previously steeped in Kentucky bourbon.. The wine cork is much larger than a usual wine cork. However I had extras from whiskey bottles and they were too small for the mouth of the bottle. And it was rather hard to get the original cork in and out.

Ruby color. Aromas and flavors of vanilla, oak, baking spice, blackberry, and plum. Smooth, full-bodied, and good finish. Nice, straightforward table wine.
