Diesel/petrol aromas up front, then intensely mineral and somewhat fat/ripe for an Alsatian Grand Cru Riesling on the palate, lovely depth and complexity, just missing a little more acidity which I’d prefer, but clearly too young to drink now, long finish, 13.5% ABV.

Jun 29th, 2026Diesel/petrol up front, which continues on the palate along with lovely mineral notes, a tad less ripe/rich than the 2022, very young, more noticeable acidity, better balance than the 2022 as well, long finish, should easily age 5-10 more years, 13.0% ABV.

Jan 4th, 2026Color and aromas suggest this is quite evolved, floral and white fruit aromatics, moderately heavy and rich on the palate, medium-log finish, actually a little disappointing to me given the high quality of Agathe’s wines, which I’ve posted on many times, for a Grand Cru Riesling I expected more, perhaps the proverbial “bad bottle” (OK, acceptable, but not outstanding) here?
Color and aromas suggest this is quite evolved, floral and white fruit aromatics, moderately heavy and rich on the palate, medium-log finish, actually a little disappointing to me given the high quality of Agathe’s wines, which I’ve posted on many times, for a Grand Cru Riesling I expected more, perhaps the proverbial “bad bottle” (OK, acceptable, but not outstanding) here?
