Zippy and grippy. Very tasty wine apple, lemon, artichoke, ends with saline.

The new project from Rhys. Tasted on and off over a week. This evolved nicely.

Salvo Foti and Kevin Harvey delivered a wonderful Etna Bianca (carricante).

Anise and lemon aroma that reminds me so much of good n plenty candy. More buttery in body and some hints of vanilla. Drying finish that reminds me of citrus oil. Surprisingly I like the California more than the Italian version

Interesting comparison to Aeris cali Carricante. Mid yellow and clear. Nose though shy is dominated by stone and mineral notes. Lemon and almond on the palate which is really dominated by the stone and mineral. Smoky notes confirm the volcanic origin. Both versions of this wine deserve your consideration.

Lemon peel, saline, minerals and acid. The spice driven back end really did it with Sicilian style sea scallops.

I think I enjoyed it more the first time. Still has the honey lemon green apple notes which is is always enjoyable to me. Add a little spice to the equation
