Best Mexican wine I’ve had. Great Rhone blend.

Ok, Mexico is on the map with Rhone style blends! Special bottle here from a small lot producer - GSM plus Cinsault. Fruit forward with dusty leather notes on the midpalate. Nice finish and weight. Viva la Mexico!

Briny, subtle fruit, bit of pepper and oak, niceeeee

Maybe it's the salt air at this ocean-front tasting, but this almost-GSM has a delicious briny character. 👍

Very nice minerality and fruit. Rhone stuff does ok down there.

Coconut, menthol, potpourri, pink peppercorn, trying a little too hard

I wanted to find out what Mexican wine was like. Now I know and won’t make that mistake again. Fruity, harsh wine with a harsh acidic finish. Likely what our grandpas made in the Depression from the backyard vineyard. At least it costs less than $25.
