Ok, Mexico is on the map with Rhone style blends! Special bottle here from a small lot producer - GSM plus Cinsault. Fruit forward with dusty leather notes on the midpalate. Nice finish and weight. Viva la Mexico!

I wanted to find out what Mexican wine was like. Now I know and won’t make that mistake again. Fruity, harsh wine with a harsh acidic finish. Likely what our grandpas made in the Depression from the backyard vineyard. At least it costs less than $25.
