Bryan Creek Vineyard Pinot Noir

A wee past it’s peak

medium reddish purple with amber rim; subdued aromatics, raspberry, blood orange, rose petals; red fruit, a bit is spice; medium body, good acidity, fine grained tannin; made from 100% Pinot Noir, Pommard clone, own-rooted, planted in volcanic-origin soils, aged 10 months in 31% new French oak

13% alc.
Very "French-inspired" and borderline lean for me.
Should benefit from a few more years in the cellar but I lack stuffing to really bring it into The Big League.

Super classic and full of fruit for 2010

Very savory. Light body. Like a village Morey.

Very pretty PN with incense and cherry intermingling on the nose. I could sniff this for hours. Seamless balance of lovely fruit, spice, and acidity. Nice lengthy finish. Really in a perfect spot right now. Not sure it will improve from here.

I don't usually drink Pinot. But when I do I wish it tasted like this.

Sweet and ripe strawberry with good progression of flavors. Not as interesting midpalate.

Meant to get to it a bit sooner, but it’s actually held up just fine. Still has lots of ripe red fruit!
