Right in the kisser with this one! Packed a perfect punch of all of the Batman onomatopoeia you could hope for in a bold, bottled beauty!

It wasn’t this label but here is my rating:
Very easy to drink. Dark but with some sweetness. Fruit forward but well balanced by the richness. 8.9

2014 opened Feb 2018. Still very young. Decant for an hour. Tobacco, cocoa, and earth tones on the nose. Maybe just a hint of eucalyptus, but it's not repulsive in the least. Unripe cherries on the front of the pallet create a bit of pucker initially. Smooth tannic structure at the top of the palate. It has a nice bright finish. This is a powerful wine. Realistically, you need to put it down for a decade, though, to mellow out its raw edges. But I personally would prefer it in its young state. I like wines that are complex and challenge me.

Lively Cab. Love this vineyard. We enjoyed this with a big juicy steak.
