This is a delicious wine from a good vintage. And no doubt it’s well made, it just isn’t my style with lower acidity. Deep, concentrated notes of black cherry, cassis, and plum soaked in cocoa nibs and vanilla. Dense and chocolatey but no refreshing lift of acid.

Dec 19th, 2017Simply put lush. It took 1 hour and 47 minutes to open up and express its lovely nose, soft texture. Glad I have a case to enjoy for a few years. Abbott did it again.

Delightful Walla Walla. Dark cherry, over ripe plums and mulling spices, slight cassis notes. Dark, jammy, gamy. Like a spiced game meat, plum and blackberry pie fresh out the oven on a fall evening.
