Delightful Walla Walla. Dark cherry, over ripe plums and mulling spices, slight cassis notes. Dark, jammy, gamy. Like a spiced game meat, plum and blackberry pie fresh out the oven on a fall evening. — 9 years ago
Classic example of a Italian table red. Nice touch of fruitiness alongside notes of barnyard, horse blanket and dark red fruits. Certainly needs food, especially those high in protein like a sharp cheese or red meats. — 9 years ago
An excellent example of what a French white burgundy should be all around. — 9 years ago
Candied red fruits, red cherries, red plums, currant, slight hint of dried strawberry and fresh blueberries. Faint woodsy musk like that of a wet forest floor after a cool rainstorm and the scent of dried leaves. Great acidity hinting on fresh dark apple notes. Continues to drink more elegant as it opens up, losing its tight edge. — 9 years ago
Excellent for the price point. Black pepper, dusty herbs, slight red fruits, could use a few more years of age to mellow out but surprisingly juicy when drank young. Great for a night sitting out on the porch. — 9 years ago

A beautifully elegant expression of the Southern Rhône from M. Chapoutier. Briary with an elegant woodsiness of dried leaves, sage, rosemary and brush. A wet riverbed scent that lingers over the fruit. Laced with fresh lavender and an olive like brininess. Perfect alongside a lamb burger overloaded with rosemary and French brebirousse. The brambly jam the burger needs. — 9 years ago
