Good wine by the pool… with enough tropical fruits and acidity to pierce thru the chlorine and sun tan lotion!

Ye Old Faithful Chenin of tropical smokey wafts. Rich and supple and a little bit fat. Slightly sweet flavors of passion fruit and sweet clementine and mango.

Pale lemon
Nose: dried citrus, gravel, stone fruit
Palate: citrus, ginger, unripe stone fruit
Medium acidity, high alcohol
Not complex or intense, but pleasant.
Paired with a hard sheep's milk cheese.

Orange blossoms, honeydew, lemon rind, with medium + acid and a creamy leesy mouthfeel. Year in and out, this is such a workhorse - one of the best values out there. Had with a simple garlic butter shrimp pasta.
