The 2019 Grenache (Santa Barbara County) is a blend from various sites in the appellation. Bright and effusive, the Santa Barbara Grenache is particularly expressive. All the elements are so complementary. Blood orange, mint, spice and star anise lend gorgeous nuance. Bright acids and a spine of tannin make this far more than an entry-level offering. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, October 2021)

Elegant and mysterious SB Grenache with surprising complexity. Shadowy dark fruit- blackberry, raspberry, plum; perfumed dried flowers, incense, sweet baking spices, black tea; dark rich earth, gravel, black pepper. Light in body and color, packs an aromatic punch. Immediately bought another bottle - insane value at $25. Looking forward to trying some of her more specific bottlings to see where this vision leads.

The 2017 Grenache (Santa Barbara County) is a terrific introduction to Angela Osborne's wines. Sweet red cherry, mint, dried flowers and anise add lovely aromatic nuance throughout, finishing with sneaky persistence. This is the only Grenache in the range made from fully destemmed fruit, and yet there is plenty of the brightness and lift that is such a signature of these wines. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, September 2019)
