Wednesday night and trying to make it special - pulled one that I wanted to try some time - Dream team group involved with winemaking - grapes from all 15 AVA of Napa - only 600 + cases - 65% cab, 17% franc and merlot and petite Verdot - THIS is FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lots of red and dark fruits blended well and less earthy than expected - tannins are soft - Taste is subtle yet big and bold - balanced yet structured and dry but appealing - tastes of blue and blackberries strawberries vanilla - smell the same but even better - great wine for a Wednesday - only decanted for 45 minutes - man this is good - 😃🍷❤️ - cheers @David A Lentine @Martin G Rivard @Jim Trobaugh @Ron R @R Bowers - ok I will calm down since just middle of week

Oct 7th, 2014Wonderful nose of dark fruit, oak and cinnamon. Fantastic tastes of blueberries, blackberries, cassis, baking spices and oak. A bold wine with solid tannins that are still working to put on silk gloves. This is a blend of grapes from all 15 AVA's in Napa back in 2010. Probably has another decade or more in terms of optimal bottle life. Steve Reynold's at his best.

Apr 23rd, 2017Dewberry cobbler on the nose. Great color in the glass. Pick any superlative descriptor you want. This is a fantastic wine with beautiful flavors of blue and black fruit with baking spices. Tannins are ultra sleek. The finish is very long with mouthwatering acidity that is just right. Nothing like a mid-week gem you have been sitting on for a few years. Way to go Steve Reynolds.

Good wine that opened up quickly. Typical leather tobacco and black fruits. Slight eucalyptus and medium spice. Balance is this wine's most endearing quality. Would recommend it if you are trying to get new wine drinkers to recognize subtle complexities. One glaring negative, price.
