I detected something here I have been looking for in the more recent vintages of this amazing property: balance and acidity!
Classic, but still a baby so while it is very good, it should be excellent in another 5-7 years and go another 15-20.

#winenight #taipei #bordeaux #troplongmondot very appropriate example of a matured Bordeaux showing why when a wine can be lovely and enjoyable the fruits go away and the wood/earth/leather come out to play. Paired well with a New York steak that was seared, sous vide's and then charred again. — 9 years ago
