Solid Mendo chard in a ripe style with petrol-butter and baked Burbank Russet. Pronounced lily and marigold. Asparagus and almonds on the nose. Medium mouthfeel with yellow apple, lemongrass, cornmeal, dry cider, lemon oil, saffron, sage, orange zest, tangerine pith, and a hint of lime and merengue. Not as dessert as this description implies, nor as tropical. A touch musty, with lemon and tangerine below. Lemon verbena, citrus pith pudding and dried limestone make this steely, coconut and charcoal dust sea wind take on interesting tastes. Like an ocean-soaked lime-in-brine over driftwood. Additional smells of lychee and ginkgo emerge with added depth and dried bamboo scents. The palate has sprouted green olive and caper notes.
