Friday night and we have opened a consistent wine that I keep coming back to time after time. I have opened the 2019 Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough New Zealand.
The nose is very expressive and typical for Marlborough. There is grapefruit, white peach, lime, grass, pungent herbaceousness and white flowers.
On the palate there is lime, grapefruite, tropical fruits, white peach, grass,nectarine, minerals and wet crushed rocks.
The wine is medium bodied with medium + acidity that leads into a long cleab, fresh, citrus, crushed rock finish. Have a great weekend. Please be safe and healthy and just have fun. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂🥂

Great pairing with our lemon garlic pan fried shrimp! Refreshing nose with strong whiffs of lemon, pear, violette and the ocean air of the Cook strait and it tasted the same!
