Les Monts Damnés Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc

The 16 is concentrated and delicious. Needs time but showed similar to a good Dauvissat chablis. Sea salt, lemon zest, herbs and pear and easily balances out the alcohol.

Really lovely wine. Herbal and lightly creamy with nice length.

From magnum. Pears and melons. Mineral verve. Lush and snappy at the same time. Long finish. Nice with William’s fondue.

On the nose, green apple, underripe green pear, grass, tarragon, green pea, wet stone, cat pee (!!!). On the palate, minerally, stoney, some orchard fruit.
What a beautiful savory wine. Lots of mineral and herbal notes upfront with that classic sauvignon "cat pee" smell. Delicious with sole meunière!

no nose

Soft pear, green melon with lovely balance - this Sancerre is best served cool but not as cold as New World SBs

nose and taste both memorable. With a nice weight but without losing the minerality...nice aromatic profile
