Big ripe Lauer nose. Minerals, a bit broad, good acid and crispness. Nice juiciness. Good cut. Balanced and very pure.

Not sure there's a better value proposition in Riesling than this. Sure, there are more complex options, but at this price, nothing can touch it for balance, ageability, drink-now deliciousness and varietal typicity. Where the '15 was attractive in the more-is-more kinda way, the '16 is classically proportioned and every bit as tasty. As they say on the wine boreds - drink and hold.

Effervescent, citrus and tropical notes, good acidity and just a touch of residual sugar. Very nice wine. @ Sylvain nola

Lovely, mineral, barely off-dry, a bit round. Nose with a touch of lime zest, apple skin, candy sugar. For my tastes it lacks a bit of acidic zing but I like it overall.
