This really accelerated as it warmed up from cellar temp. Clean lines, ample mineral backbone and an herbaceous quality that threads in as well. Finishes with a slight rich roundness—perhaps owing to some RS, although I’m not sure that is the source. A really fun domestic Gruner.

2016 Gruner Veltliner Meersboden. Tasted a bit "Federspiel" at first minutes open with candied fruit and bright citrus along with distinctive varietal aromas. BUT WITH AIR ...It's fantastic! Perfect aromas, clean and well made great bright balence in the mouth with great potential... I'd like to try it again with some more bottle development.

Beautiful purity of fruit. Less liner and not as peppery as it's Austrian counterparts. Elegant and rounded with medium acid.
