10' Castello DEI Rampolla d ' Alceo. Decanted this beast of wine for an hour. Put it back in the bottle. Decanted it again 5 hours later, for an additional hour with dinner. Predominately Cabernet. Everything you could possibly imagine in this wine is happening! Earthiness, black/light red fruits. A hint of tar & licorice. Just when I think it can't get any better… I take another sip!! I don't know if I would give this wine the 100 points it received( damn close) Simply put… Highly recommend! It's got another 15+ years in it's prime.

Lush black fruit just coming into the zone with tannins softening. The lush, complex flavours in this wine is what wine lovers live for!
