Santa Barbara County Syrah

Beautiful red fruits and herbs, Rhône like. But slight thin and lean on the palate.

Fantastic characters of cool climate Syrah. Dark cherry, game, dried herb and white pepper. Fresh and v.lovely

Raw meat and black olive

Blood, stone, wax. Unripe dark fruit. Green edge and slight natural funk.

Tastes like cloves and unripe berries. Better warm, but not bad.

Nice Syrah, was hoping for a little more muscle

Perfect with red meat. Delish.

Promising nose of blackberries, strawberries and spice with poor follow through. Fruit tastes overripe and jammy and wine lacks tannins or acid to balance it out. Built more like a Zinfandel than a Syrah. If you want a syrupy, fruity chocolate dessert, then this will do fine.
