Terrible photo. Too damn young. This wine won't make sense until 2027. Lots of potential, tho.

Disappointing for such a vaunted grower and site. Nose seems a bit tired, showing that slight “old banana” note that is a precursor to oxidation. Lots of fine minerality is still there, however. Good acidity, and the flavors aren’t as advanced as the nose. But I’ve had many better Sancerres at lower price points.

A pristine bottle just starting to get into its stride. Pebbly too - 2013

Tight knit...embryonic?Patience does always repay, but here and despite double decanting 2 hours prior to tasting, I didn't get the impression that nothing had dramatically changed...would there be a slight dilution?
