A stunning nose. Lemon, lifted bright floral notes. A whiff of gunpowder. On the palate, dazzling with electric acidity and bright dynamic notes. Gorgeous

Wow! Unlike the 2011 I had just a month ago which absolutely required hours in the decanter before it could strut its stuff, this 2011 was wide open from the start. Much less reduction. Love the verve and cut in this vintage. Its stunning bouquet jumps from the glass wafting its white flowers, popcorn, citrus oils, crushed rocks and those craveable Coche fireworks. The palate is tense, vibrant and as always, has incredible depth and weight for a village wine. Started the trip with Coche and ended the same way! The perfect conclusion! 🙌🏻

Wow. What a nose. Flint, lime, gunpowder, slate, zest. Incredibly engaging and exhilarating on the nose and then a beautiful broad palate. Loads of gorgeous streaks of acidity and a long finish. Fantastic

It’s at the 3 hour mark in the decanter (advance decant) where it really comes alive. Reduction settles down and Coche fireworks awaken. It always amazes me how deep and long on the palate village Coche is. It has such radiant energy and cut in this vintage balancing its richness seamlessly. The last sip makes me sad. So good.

Gorgeously bright and lifted on the nose. Lime, a whiff of sulfur, very driven and exhilarating. Beautiful poise on the palate and length forever. Stunning.

Still way to young and again wood not completely integrated but this will disappear. Buttery, high minerality, smokey, crushed stones. Will be very good with patience.
