what stood out were the bright and tart red fruits and candy...like red licorice

Plenty of darkness, good body and length.

Seriously attractive. 65 CS 35 Merlot. Great depth. BlackBerry, graphite. Very drinkable but will have legs for a while. Nice grip.

With a four hour decant this bottle was brilliant! Notes of cedar, tobacco, cassis, dried blueberries it was an excellent accompaniment to the Matsuzaya beef
