Jul 6th, 2022This Flacc is OTT. Bordeaux gestalt with a nose of Tuscany. Whiffs of thyme and sage, so many secondary aromatics over cedar and old, dry earth. Smooth as silk, brick-edged and tasting of red clay and old cherrywood. Needed only 20 mins in decanter to open wide. Drink up.

Apr 12th, 2020I’ve had this wine at least a dozen times but it wasn’t showing optimally tonight. It may be descending down the other side of the hill. Fruit, structure and weight were all less than expected.

Apr 3rd, 2015I had this particular vintage several time and it is evolving beautifully.
Quite massive and juicy years ago, it's becoming more terroir driven and organized. Eucalyptus, Indian spices and a beautiful smokiness is present and the mouthfeel is dense, juicy but noble. Barrique is very well integrated with nice velvety tannins and a nice acidity
