One of my fave 00 Bdx wines. Presents perfectly with bright cherries and saddle leather on the nose, followed by graphite and black fruits on the mid palate. This will sail on for years since the tannins and acidity are still very prominent. Unbeatable 2nd wine from Las Cases.

Fell off quickly - dominant wafts of VA, Brett, and tertiary aromas didn’t improve with a decant.

Smooth, brick red with brown edges. Light tannins. Medium body. Perfumed nose. Subtle blackberries, plums, and lavender notes.

First taste from my cellar. Lovely black cherry, smooth tannins, velvety in the mouth. Well worth the wait.

Red currants, tobacco, leather, and tomato leaf aromas. Add some cherries and fine tannins to the palate and this wine is just hitting its stride. I do recommend decanting. This wine takes a while to open up.

Graphite, red cherry and currant, tobacco leaf on the nose. Palate started off a bit lean needed some time to flesh out.
