Not much better at $14.99 retail, blend of 6 grapes including Pinot. Young vines, neutral oak, texture, black fruit, great acid and probably more tannin than most spending $15 understand. Ripe, plush, kinda hot. Bout it, bout it. Rounds into red, awesome florality and a distinct spicy

Light garnet color with a pink rim. Nose of dried flowers, red berries, some spices and orange zest. On the palate, it is serious without being too intellectual, it is sappy while balanced. Fruit flavors (berries and cranberries), flowers, a touch of leather and spices, Bergamothe, silky mid-palate and a finish with a bitter twist. Love it. Very good+ (90)

Blend of Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto, and small quantities of Freisa, Albarossa and Pinot Noir. Aged in stainless steel tanks (with a minimum share of neutral wood) for 14-16 months before being bottled. Alcohol level of 13,5%

Medium acidity on the tongue is followed by a hint of tannin and a shadow of sweetness. Made me think of blackberries a week from peak ripeness. Earthy, faintly leathery aroma in the nose, cushioned within dry red fruit. Pairs well with spicy, tangy food.

Surprisingly approachable Nebbiolo wine. Not overly tannic, nice aromatics. Chewy. Yum. Thanks Dan

Very tasty and nimble with a variety of food. Another beautiful bottle from #vajra.

Not a wine to have alone -- earthy, rosey, tar like. Medium tannin, good acid. Great with food. Transformed with a calzone. Mine was only $17 so it was a great value.
