Has the gamey nose of goat emmentaler cheese soaked in cherries. Young and ageable. Purchase to cellar if you enjoy the name. Classically oaked California Cab.

Tasted at the new Geyserville tasting room. What a beautiful setting. The new silver oaks are really terrific wines. I particularly liked this 2014 Alexander valley. It was so true to its Cabernet roots and should glide effortlessly in the cellar for many many years

Always reliably delicious!! Ready to pop and pour with its soft, velveteen tannins and robust, ripe black fruit notes such as cassis, blackberry, black cherry, also licorice, green bell pepper, nutmeg, cardamom, cedar, pencil shavings, clove, tobacco, and leather.
