Drinking better than the last time I had this vintage. Cassis, black brambly fruit, tobacco, plums, baking spice; energetic...like a spark plug. Lots of acid and tannin. I adore these wines. Best on Day 2.

Red fruit, cherries and cigar box on the nose. The palate is layered with an initial juicy burst of strawberry and cherries, that are followed with hints of tobacco and chocolate and a somewhat tart, long finish. The tannins are a bit tough but not overwhelming and there is great acidity. Popped and poured.

Great QPR. Glad to see Seavey on the front label.

2012 in Feb 2021. Big wine with some distinctive tastes. Great fruit with prominent minerals and graphite or iron. Comes off just a bit angular. Still lots of backbone and was still holding well the second day. Has a few years of life yet. Decant at least an hour. Has upside if things integrate a bit more.

Needs more time to evolve, but enjoyed none-the-less

First time with Seavey's 2nd wine. Red fruits a hint of smoke and some sweetness on the finish.

Light, airy, decent finish, nice subtle flavors - no complaints. Nice Napa cab for the price point.

So darn good and drinkable and silky at such a young age. The pallet is full of flavor. You can taste the levels of earth and berry. Great with the pork chop I had for dinner. I wish I had more right now.

Very drinkable now. About 30 or so minutes post decant it was solid out of the blocks. Earth elements, old world structure, terroir driven. A bit of vanilla on the nose. Very solid. Can drink this all day every day.

Young, with sweet fruit, vanilla, and minimal tannin. Doesn't bear a lot of resemblance to any other Seavey I've had. Tasty but not one to cellar.
