Typical of wine media to poopoo in vintage notes. Often what deemed off years turns out aging better than most expect! Here’s the real hidden value in wine!

Probably my fifth or so taste of this vintage, and it’s always been amazing. At age 20, it’s a refined and very elegant wine with great depth and complete purity on the lengthy finish. Very impressive.

Over extracted and hot. Far too modern to last.

Everything you should expect from an aged Sassicaia. Still fresh, powerful and fruity but refined with a smoother and velvety finish.

Surprisingly light on its feet, yet with intensity enough to get my attention, this herbaceous and gently evolved version has sweet and more-ish tannins, juicy acidity and mid-weight stuffing. It ain't big, but wonderfully balanced.

A pretty wine with that textbook herbs and earth that is common in all of these wines a bit of peppery spice. Very smooth and silky sweet fruit with lovely freshness echoing that spice earth notes drinking very nicely but has the structure to age a bit more bit drinking so nicely right now it is hard to keep away from. Finish 45+ excellent+
