Red Mountain is my favorite Washington AVA. The wines are generally loaded with tannic structure to balance the ample fruit. This was certainly ominous & grippy at first, but a bright blackberry note emerges with air. Excellent.

Huge, concentrated wine. Great flavor and intense tannins, excellent ageability. Would highly recommend.
