Reminds me of a 1er Cru Chablis. Rich and balanced without the typical California butter bomb. Acidity is holding up well for the age.

2005 showing fantastic.. Honey dew, waxy, tangerine.. Finish for days but not showing any cloying viscosity.. Some pleasant acid still. Paired decently with whole red snapper.

A bit oxidized, though not surprising for a 14 year old white. The oxidaton actually seems to make more interesting what otherwise would have been a butter bomb.

10 year old Chardonnay. Deep gold in color. A little reticent on the nose but soft floral scent. Soft and a bit rounder with some apple and citrus. Very mature Chardonnay.
