Lovely and poised. Deep and rounded. Warm lemon oil and oyster shells. The ripeness and roundness of 2010 but this is in a delicious place. Not quite as crystal as the Raveneau alongside but lovely body.

Citrus, flint, marzipan, pepper, white blossoms and some herbal fennel-like notes. Surprising palate weight - lush and weighty while being fresh and carrying very bright acid. Saline, seashell, lemon tart and flint. Classic Chablis with a little age and a lot of life ahead.

This wine totally blew me away, one of the great white wines I've ever tasted. Always pretty awesome when a wine and a producer lives up to its hype. The concentration, breadth, balance, length, all superlative.
