Understated and very pure. Soft plush fruit: raspberry, dark plum, underbrush, violets some woody notes. Really plush mouthfeel. Not quite as intense as the greatest vintages but a beautifully succulent and sophisticated wine with a long life ahead

This was tight & somewhat reserved when 1st opened that needed lots of air to express its Dujac personality showing good depth & purity with notes of dark cherry, berry fruits, savory spice, earth, mineral & violet. I would give it more time.

WINE ADVOCATE: “ The 2008 Clos de la Roche is particularly refined in this vintage. The wine literally floats on the palate with weightless elegance in its intensely perfumed fruit. Crushed flowers and red berries linger on the silky, impossibly fine finish. This is a fabulous effort from Dujac. Anticipated maturity: 2018-2033. “ I might suggest a longer life

it took a few hours to show its stuff, but once it did it showed great elegance and complexity.

2008 vintage at Parkheuvel Rotterdam. A good glass wine, forest smell, game, integrated tannins, plenty of good acidity.

2008 vintage. CdlR. At golf club in Atherton with Mohammad, Saeed and Mohsen. After 2 hours open. Medium ruby hue. Dark fruits, coffee and chocolate, dark cherry. Heavy earth and slight shit smell - very attractive! On the palate, medium acidity and tannins - ripe. Medium plus concentration and long lingering finish. Excellent.
