The sleeper in Julien’s lineup. A stunning wine. Deep nose of spice, herbs, early to mid season red cherries, and wow that spice penetrates deep. Just such a clear nose. Really has. lipstick like intensity. Palate is sapidity city with fantastic red cherry on the early side with vibe crunch and depth. Fresh as all can be but also luscious and deep. Really long. Just fantastic for the level. Outrageous inner mouth aromas and sweet fruit now with air.

Palate is full of generous red cherry fruit with terrific concentration and sweetness. Awesome finish and grip. Great sweet fruit. What a showing. Awesome complexity. So complete. Sappy, fresh and teeming with energy. Elegant as well with air. Flat out stunning.

Feb 10th, 2022Ok, some normal wine now. And wow what a difference. Huge cherries on the nose. Almost a cherry compote with a wonderful smattering of earth. Unreal clarity of fruit. Just so much and so detailed. Palate is gorgeous and pure. Unreal depth and clarity. Deep. Just sick fruit. 19 is so so legit. Awesome freshness and so many black and red cherries. Amazing sleek structure and fruit. Terrific purity. 19 is so so great.

This is great! Tart and crunchy but still has volume. The nose is so perfumed and intoxicating. What a wonderful expression of Burgundy and Pinot noir in general

Aug 6th, 2019Super aromas, bowl of red cherries, spice, green moss, floral and leaping out of the glass. Juicy and so clean. Needs 20 minutes and then it will be gone in 20 minutes.

👃 Plenty of cherry. Needs about 1 hour to open up. Quite juicy and fresh. Some tannins left. Crushed marble. Likable yet lacks this extra wow effect I am looking for in older burghs.
