We celebrated our 37th anniversary last night though our anniversary isn’t until Monday. Had a delicious steak and a couple of really good wines

The wine is dark in color and features a complex nose of currant, plum, black cherry and oak spice - all layered with the chalky minerality that is a hallmark of Paso Robles Cabs. That limestone minerality comes through especially strong on the palate. The dark red fruit plays a big role, the sweet oak is just right and the tannins are medium-firm.

Pleasantly surprised! Nice blackberry on the nose. Nice Smooth, delightful finish. Soft tannins, not overpowering for a 2012 Cab. Enjoyed it very much!

A blend of 84% Cab Sauv & 16% Petit Verdot. Founded in 1996 by Hans Nef, who came from a rural village outside of Zürich, along with associate R. Michel, also from SUI. Aromas of dark fruits and woodsy spice. On the palate blueberry and jammy cherry flavors with cacao and sweet candy notes. Dusty tannins with a bit of an edge, medium ending with an oak finish.

Nice fruit and full body, not too tannic. Better on palate than nose. Nice with food. Tasty.

Very smooth and no bite. Taking in too much still provides great smoothness with no bite. Nice smooth, full flavor.

Takes a little while to open up, but once it does it gets warm and juicy. Nice earthy notes with just a hint of sweetness and mild jam mouth feel. Very enjoyable.
