Leather, tar, plum aromas. Lush plum fruit, pretty intense tannins, light smoke and cocoa. Tart plum skin on the finish. Not typically a huge fan of Carmenere, but this is highly-quality.

Impressively smooth and well balanced. My first carmeniere that I really, really like.

Nice South American example of a varietal we don't get too much in the states. Fairly well balanced, nice nose, not too much pronounced fruit though. Definitely something to drink with a meal

Dark maroon color. Smells of desert rocks in the rain and licorice. Flavors are dense and very dry. Chewy. Some more anise and plenty of dark chocolate. Nice streak of red fruits. This is a nice balanced red. Has less tobacco leaf and smoke than some other Carmenere, but it’s worthy of the Gran Reserva moniker.

Delicious! What a steal. Could drink this all night. Some Cab characteristics, but a bit lighter on the backside. That doesn’t mean anything except to me. Lovely wine for the price, well balanced- cardamon, dirty, apples, strawberry, very ripe plum. Can I find more?

Initially high minerality on nose, graphite jalapeno and Earthy, then plum and dark fruits not very strong. Med acid med tannin dry and med alcohol. Tastes better once it breathes

Really delicious and velvety carmenere. Leather and smoke on the nose. Blue/black fruit on the palate without the sweetness. Nice structure and balance, and with just a touch of acidity to make it very gulpable. Dry and tannic and lovely

Very good Chilean wine. 100% Carmenere grapes. Nice ruby color. Great nose full bodied black fruit prominent. Great with steak.
