Probably would have been better at five years ago but Knoll Likes is a bit of botrytis
Like a dry SGN


Delish for its historic perspective. Dry but almost like a dry SGN

Excellent minerality and weight. Lime, petrol and Meyer lemon.

King of Austria???

It’s been too long. Powerful and deep, explosive acidity and a persistent mineral core. Exotic and ripe fruit, grilled peach, pineapple, crumbled rock, citrus blossom, ginger candy.

Unripe Rainer cherry skin, dill, yellow peach, rich medium-plus body, tingling acid. Wow.

In magnum

So special. Dense, rich, great fruit & phenols. And the color, deep rich yellow.

Closed & sleeping at the moment, with shy peach and pear, summer meadow and a whiff of white pepper. On the palate the beautiful structure shines, with purity of fruit, quite a mouthfeel and a mineral streak. This is way too young but great nonetheless.
