The Mission
Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir
Light bodied, full pinot noir aroma and nose-feel, warm cherry palate with cran-raspberry and plum, little soft leather, and medium to long finish on first taste. Later tastes turned reminiscent of Beaujolais, but with a heavier, fuller mouthfeel and truer Pinot Noir finish. Not quite a Willamette Pinot, but competes at a good price point.

Oct 31st, 2022Hmm...I liked the 2013 a lot better. This 2015 #pinotnoir is not nearly as refined as the 2013. It’s too oaky, excessive on the cocoa bitterness with harsher tannins so falls to the realm of merely ordinary Pinots.
