Second bottling of '17 Chiroubles I've had from the estate, I'm impressed. Vivid wild berry, jolt of spice and mineral/granite on the midpalate, a floral note lingers on the finish. Linear and direct. Quite dry, pleasantly so. Could probably use some air to flesh out, but was drained too quickly to find out.

Musty old leather on the nose. Underripe cherry and spice on the palette. Granite. Almost like a lighter-bodied, less grippy Syrah. Interesting stuff. Organically grown. 12.5% ABV.
