Sipping Fine Wine

Deep Ruby color with aromas of dark fruit and floral pepper spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and ripe cherry fruit with cedar, vanilla, floral and pepper spice. Firm full tannins, medium length ending with fruit cacao, oak and spice. Great value! Over 200,000 cases produced!

Classic BBQ wine, this entry level Malbec from Catena (£13) has cherry and black currant notes with a slight savoury edge. While quite a bold wine, the alcohol is well integrated and perfect to drink now.

Extremely smooth finish with a subtle spice. It has a lot of flavor but not too bold. I would be happy to buy a bottle of this at a restaurant for $32 - $40. The retail was about $16 which was a pretty good deal.

Nice pinot noir for a slightly cheaper bottle - would be nice with red meat or pasta

On 12/24/17 with Christmas Eve dinner with Tonya, grandma Chris and Bernie and aggie. A medium bodies fruit forward crisp balanced wine, easy to drink.
