Ok Nero. It’s plummy and pruney. Not well balanced, too round and no tannins that I want in this. Maybe it’s just tired? Maybe I am???

very unique taste, enjoyable

Bought this one without prior knowledge or recommendations and I hit the jackpot. An excellent mature wine with distinct taste and wonderful aroma. Pairs well with beef. I'll get more if I can find it.

Vintage 2014 soft and fruity. Excellent flavor

2014v. Fruit forward, and approachable nero d'avola. Deep ruby color. The nose is full of the full range of dark fruits: black cherry, blueberry, blackberry, plum. Plum and prune hit the palette, with a little earth, spice, and a hint of eucalyptus/bay/herb on the back end. Tannins and acid are both reigned in for this type of wine. Not a bad value for $8. 13.5% ABV.
