Top Notes For

From the Right Bank of the Gironde River in St Emilion on south facing slopes, very dark Ruby, purple edges, with aromas of red/black fruits with earthy spicy notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and tart cherry flavors with vanilla, herbs and smoky cedar notes. Firm ripe dusty tannins, medium+ finish ending with a mineral spicy finish. Good now, will age some! Nice value!

Walloping right out of the bottle. Settles down with some air. Drinkability, not complexity. Delicious with turkey chili.

80% merlot, 20% cab franc. Approachable, inky; cab franc shows through. Berry, chocolate and nutty character. Medium body, tight and dense fruit, chewy tannins.

Interesting to get back to a Cabernet blend after 3 weeks of Italian varieties with the odd new world variety. Leafy and a touch astringent. Average Bordeaux blend. Emirates Business Class Lounge needs to lift its game!

Unpretentious red blend that made a wonderful first impression. Silky smooth and easily drinkable. Winner all around.
