Blend of 98% Cabernet Sauvignon & 2% Malbec, aged for 15 months in 32% new French oak, deep Ruby with aromas of black fruit, sweet cacao & complex spice. On the palate flavors of rich ripe juicy blackberry and cherry with oak, herb and vanilla notes. Nicely integrated firm, graceful fine tannins, long finish, displays primary fruits on ending, starting to develop some secondary aging, very nice. Excellent, Consistent quality, will age well!

Founded by Jacob Beringer, Vineyard was established in 1876. Dark Ruby with aromas ripe dark fruits. sweet spice and cedar notes. On the palate blackberry and cherry with cinnamon and vanilla notes, great balance with acidity. Soft tannins, great mouthfeel, long finish, should age well for a few years! Nice!!

Had this at Capitale Grill, and it showed better then than now. Still enjoyable, but it chased the Morgado - dumb on my part. Above cellar temp, its showing a little more personality. At the right price, it’s a buy to try.

Good juice. Sweet, hot cocoa on the nose. Palate is altogether different. Tannin and body abound. Dark fruit, ripe in some corners but balanced with appropriate grip in the back end. Kind of hot as well. Lay it down for the short term.

Deep ruby red with a purplish hue. Lots of baking spices on the nose with dark cherries, black currants and cassis. Moderate tannins (6/10) and moderate plus bodied. Dark berried attack, but dissapointly thins out mid palate quite a bit and then lingers for a slightly bitter long finish. Drink from 2017 till 2025. (Strong 89+)
