Amazing density and concentration. Candied orange peel, almond kernel and quince open into poached stone fruits and honeysuckle by day 3. Bit long in the tooth, though - lacking some energy, finishes a little flat, slightly bitter.

Golden orange but decent clarity. Petrol, honey, peach and ginger. Drier than expected for an old ass Auslese--probably cuz of the super high acid.

White floral and petrol notes. Still incredibly vibrant and not really showing its age much. This could go and maybe get better for another 20+ years.

Auslese, but only listed on the back label. Rich honeyed apricots enjoyed over three days. Advanced color, but absolutely indestructible aromatics & palate richness.

Diesel and white flowers on the nose, with more petrol and white peach in the mouth. There's enough acidity left to balance the sugar, which is still light on the tongue. Great wine, then and now.
