Bourgogne Pinot Noir

This wine is just always so good for the money in an actually age as well too (I’ve done that before) but this tasted great right out of the gate: Black cherries and earth = super pretty! Perfect with roasted chicken thighs, creamy greens and sweet potatoes!

Difficult to assess when the entire house smells like beautifully crispy chicken skin. All the highlights are here. Forest floor mixing with that tart bing cherry with fungus all over the place. Open and ready to go but still structured and could age for a long while. Insane value.

Class juice. Rhubarb, beetroot, spice. Fresh, nice texture, not trying too hard. Hard not to love 2015s. #pataille

Candied red fruits, red cherries, red plums, currant, slight hint of dried strawberry and fresh blueberries. Faint woodsy musk like that of a wet forest floor after a cool rainstorm and the scent of dried leaves. Great acidity hinting on fresh dark apple notes. Continues to drink more elegant as it opens up, losing its tight edge.

Took a little bit to open up, but once it did, it showed everything I'd expect from Burgundy.

Solid, flowers and bright fruit with nice minerals.
