Cuvée de l'enfant terrible Côtes du Jura Poulsard

L’enfant terrible de Jean-François Ganevat. Poulsard at its best, fresh and light but with a strong sharp personality! Not such a bad kid, actually extremely polite and sensitive... but opinionated.

If blind tasting, I would have guessed very young Cru Beaujolais. Cloudy and amazingly transparent. Had those hallmark fresh strawberry notes with some spice. I don’t think they do carbonic maceration with these wines, but it sure tastes like it. Different and interesting. Thanks Kuan Lim!

Took a full 24 hours to open up apparently.
Drink with lechon.

Didn’t change much after a year in the cellar. Fun Funky Français.

Poulsard goodness of grape. Light, tart, acidic, and interesting. Dark pink to light red in color. Vibrant.

Closed up and reductive, then decanted and splashed about (x3) and this blossomed beautifully - 2014 at 10% alc./vol.

I have sorely missed good Plousard. So much energy

So, so, so pretty. Words escape me.

Awesome. Almost clear, but so much beauty and flavor. Hard to get prettier.

Looks like a Rose. Tasty!
