Deep Ruby with aromas of ripe red fruits and spice notes. On the palate flavors of ripe black cherry and black raspberry with sweet spice. Fine tannins, medium finish ending with fruit and spice notes.

One of the great bargains in Italian reds, Campofiorin is atypical Veneto blend with Corvina up front and giving the wine black cherry, red cherry and sour cherry, red plum, violet, and a hint of leather and dried cherry. This is a very contemporary evocation of Ripasso - more depth than Valpolicella without sacrificing bright acidity. Great balance of velvet tannins, high acidity and plenty of fruit to support the 15% abv without any sense of burn. Really enjoyable and a versatile partner for food.

Delicious Corvina! Clean round cherries, plums, mocha and mint with a long fruity finish. The Italian Beaujolais?

In 1958, Masi was in the forefront of the work to identify the historic "cru" vineyard sites for Amarone. In 1964, Campofiorin was the first in reinventing the technique of double fermentation Found another bottle in my cellar. Deep red with full ripe black and red fruit aromas. This Ripasso style wine offers intense flavors of blackberry, cherry and plum, with sweet vanilla, and cinnamon spice notes. Soft tannins, the finish had great length ending with chewy fruit characteristics. Nice drinking wine.

Light without a lot of depth soft with a smooth finish. A wine to enjoy with friends and food not as a stand along.

A delightful Campofiorin... Chocolate, black cherries and some coffee undertones. This is a Misfit of a wine, not because it wears and orange jump suit and does community service but because Masi are the only winery that don't call this Ripasso. Could probably benefit from a few more years in bottle but is very drinkable today. It's a winner... Like Charlie Sheen...

Debbie says, "it is ok".

Raspberry leaf aroma, some cherry and a little baseline earth note. Cool and even in the mouth, swelling with cherry red fruit only on the finish. The finish closes quickly and succulently.
